Blow up Balloons!

My kids had been trying to do this experiment that we saw on Pinterest. All you need is:

  • plastic bottle
  • baking soda
  • balloons
  • vinegar
  • funnel
First, put the opening of the funnel inside the opening of the balloon. Then add 2 TBSP of baking soda INSIDE THE BALLOON.

Fill the bottle 1/2 way with vinegar and attach the balloon to the opening of the bottle.

Carefully flip the balloon so the baking soda can go into the bottle and chemically react with the vinegar.

Watch the balloon inflate!

Fun!
